We are looking for an Chief Engineering Manager to join our team and lead our awarded & under bidding military projects in Guam across the team to help create processes and execute strategies to ensure projects are developed in a timely manner. Engineering Manager responsibilities include developing project design and specifications, budgets and overseeing the successful execution of projects throughout the year. Ultimately, you will work closely with team members to ensure projects are completed according to schedule, budget, design, and specifications.
Job Description
- Oversees construction process from design stage to final handover to the clients
- Plans the work to be done, getting the necessary personnel, and assigning the duties within the team including design-construction-bidding teams.
- Supervise and review the preparation of construction and engineering method statements with team of engineers.
- Plans and maintains the budget and schedule with team of engineers.
- Liaise between the construction and engineering team members ensuring the harmony between engineering team requirements and construction team deliverables.

- Assure all project related work plans and project-specific documents necessary for performing quality control activities are onsite.
- Supervises installation and ensures installations are per project design and specifications.
- Interfaces in professional manner with client representatives.
- Reviews designs and provide feedback to designers.
- Manages in depth technical reviews of submittals against design documents and manage submittal review and approval status through use of submittal register.
- Identifies deficiencies and non-conformances, prepare documentation.
- Inspects the work conformance to contract and design documents.

- Implements the requirements of approved quality control plan, assuring all required records are generated and managed.
- Develops daily quality control reports, prepares and issues detailed meeting minutes, assist with the post construction reports.
